Hey guys, I need your help.  My boyfriend is participating in NaNoWriMo this month and I need something to entertain me while he's typing away.  Also, I've wanted to make more illustrated art.  I've been interested in using submitted words to make such art and I've been wanting to give some gifts out!  This has all come together into one idea, so now I am announcing the launch of my first ArtAway Giveaway contest!  At the end of the month, 25 entrants will get an original artwork mailed to them to keep forever. So a couple things have happened recently that has made me realize that I have to become a better artist.  And by better artist I don't mean I need to get better at my art, but rather that I need to get better at being an artist.  This could make my art better but that's only a portion of the benefits that could come with this and could be done without some of the things I am planning. Hello!          I hope 2011 went well for all of you and that 2012 is going well so far too!  2011 had a definite upward trend to it ending with me being mostly settled into the apartment my boyfriend and I moved into just a few weeks ago.  There's still a lot to do in the way of organizing, decorating, and getting more stuff of mine from my mom's house but it's turning out to be quite comfy!
